RAYMUNDO GARCIA

Ray grew up in Marietta, GA and is a former resident of Durham, where his three younger siblings attended high school.
As a product of Head Start, public schools, and a public university, Ray firmly believes that the health of a community rests on the health of its local schools.
Ray’s background consists of working across the social sector, from local to national nonprofits, grantmaking institutions, and impact consulting firms. He’s leveraged his skills as a strategic thinker, resource connector, and people activator to support organizations in elevating their assets and identifying new possibilities. Outside of DPSF, Ray works as an Associate Consultant at Frontline Solutions and serves as a board member of Poder NC.
Ray received a B.A. in Public Policy from UNC Chapel Hill and currently resides in Winder, GA. In his down time, he likes to hit the gym or uncover a new hiking trail.
