DPS Foundation Receives BUILD Health Challenge Grant

We're so thrilled to receive a BUILD Health Challenge grant for our WHOLE Schools mental health initiative!

BUILD Health Challenge is a funding collaborative dedicated to the creation of a new norm in the U.S., one that puts multi-sector, community-driven partnerships at the foundation of improving health for everyone.

Our BUILD grant will be focused on establishing the Mental Health Ambassadors program; delivering ongoing community mental health education and skill-building; providing funding through the WHOLE Schools grants to meet community needs; and creating a plan to scale this work beyond Durham.
